Lessons in Metal Work

My approach to this class was based on my practice of decolonizing design and making spaces. Taught by Splash (Aaron Nelson-Moody), a Coast Salish-based jewellery maker, the practice leaned more towards understanding the local traditional ways of making with brass and copper, using hand tools and embracing a slow, intuition-driven process straying away from perfection.
